On July 9th, 2008 Custom Cart Solutions was invited to speak at NACUFS National Conference in Washington, D.C. (Nation Association of College & University Food Service) Here's a nugget that CCS took away from the conference.
- Colleges & Universities are cash strapped and were not hopeful that any educational institution would dedicate protected budgetary dollars to expand food programs outside of their own student food service, but they would gladly entertain a leased space location that includes a CustomCart! .
Military Bases
Custom Cart Solutions sold its first semi-permanent CustomCart to a large Army base in the south. This CustomCart was semi-permanently located at a high traffic family park and could be moved to a special event at a moments notice.
It was during that time, on July 13, 2006, that Custom Cart Solutions became a preferred military vendor for all 5 branches of service. They too are interested in leasing locations to qualified national and international food and beverage vendors whose operations include a CustomCart.

For Your Information
When Custom Cart Solutions built its first prototype structure, they were well aware that no health code standards existed to support this new technology.
So Custom Cart Solutions asked NSF, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, who write all the health code standards around the world, and who certify restaurant equipment, to create new standards by which this kitchen structure could be governed under.
A short time later, NSF agreed, and on January 24, 2006, Custom Cart Solutions became the first NSF Certified manufacturer of this newly U.S. Patented equipment, in the world.
